Scope: 60,000 S.F. + LEED Gold Certification

Located at the entrance to the new Columbia University Manhattanville campus, the Lenfest Center for the Arts houses spaces for the School of the Arts and the Wallach Art Gallery. A large monolith of stacked art spaces, the building appears to levitate above the transparent ground floor lobby, creating a visual continuity with the Small Square and surrounding public exterior spaces. The program includes a 150 seat film screening theater, a 99 seat flexible performing dance space, an art gallery, and an exhibition space.
