Scope: 3,000 S.F.

A new music and food venue in the Little River neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The space is an exploration generated by the intersection of botony, musicology, hospitality, and ecology, Little River is a vibrant community that has embraced its commercial and agricultural roots. The neighborhood showcases the contrast between industrial urbanism and residential housing. Although Little River has bountiful trees, it lacks significant public green space. As a community space, Public Records has the opportunity to contribute and create a neighborhood garden and actively engage its surroundings. As the heart of the project, the Public Records garden space will be the Little River neighborhood oasis. Creating a harmonious space with the surrounding context while engaging the tropical Miami atmosphere. The garden area will allow plants to filter light and sound while elemental materials like wood, stone, concrete, and clay createan everyday retreat.
